Managing Competing Agendas in Healthcare – Focusing on Medicaid
Abstract
When it comes to Medicaid, Trump’s administration sought to abolish the entire program amidst protests from the citizens. The administration has managed to conduct significant changes in it although much of its components such as its wide coverage still exist today. Clearly, the influence of politics on the healthcare program is significant and its future is highly dependent on the politics of the day. Nevertheless, until a better program is established, which could foster more benefits to the US citizens, Medicaid should not be repealed.
