Abstract

In all stages of the drug discovery and development process, analysis of pharmaceutical and natural compounds, as well as newer pharmaceuticals, is routinely used. High-performance thin layer chromatography is a sophisticated instrumental technique that takes advantage of thin layer chromatography's full potential. HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) has been widely used as an analytical method for many years and is an important instrument for the separation and analysis of pharmaceutical medications, drug monitoring, quality assurance, and life science research. Non-volatile compounds are often separated and analysed using HPLC. Numerous applications have been accepted for everyday use in the pharmaceutical industry, research laboratories, analytical laboratories, clinical laboratories, and colleges due to the flexibility of this technique.
