Studying The Significance Of Biopolymers In Wound Healing
Abstract
Wounds are a significant healthcare problem that affects millions of people throughout the world. Diabetes and other lifestyle diseases increase the risk of wound complications. The complexity of the healing process makes effective wound treatment difficult. Bioactive polymers are becoming increasingly important in wound care, in addition to traditional wound care practises. Synthetic and natural biomaterials have been widely used in different medical fields, including wound healing, due to their favourable biocompatibility and cell proliferative properties.
