Abstract

Pandemic are not new to mankind. As long as the history of human race goes so long is the history of pandemic too. We have faced many pandemic in the past, we have survived it too and currently we are going through this pandemic called COVID-19. The main concern of this current pandemic is that the immunity of a person is severely affected. Ayurvedic text like Charaksamhita has explained 'Janapadadwamsa' which can be co-related to pandemic and he has alsoexplained its remedies. Acharya Vagbhatahas also explained 'DINCHARYA' which not only boosts immunity but also its regular practice keeps oneself away from diseases. So in this review article a generous effort has been made to review all the concerned text of Ayurveda and to list all the practices mentioned in ayurvedic texts, especially Dinacharya, Rutucharya, panchakarma, etc to boost immunity and also to keep healthy. As everyone knows prevention is better than cure so these practices should be included in everyone life.

Aim  And Objective :- To know about the different procedures mentioned in ayurvedic texts required for maintaining good health.

Materials And Methods: All the Ayurvedic and modern literature and contemporary texts including websites required for this review article will be reviewed and documented in study

DISCUSSION:- Prevention is better than cure and hence we can use various measures mentioned in Ayurvedic texts to prevent our self and also boost our immunity..

CONCLUSION:- Ayurveda definitely  has many measures that we need to prevent ourhealth.
