Abstract

Background: One of the most common genitourinary cancers experienced in developing nations such as India is penile cancer. The occurrence of penile carcinoma differs according to the practice of circumcision, the quality of hygiene, phimosis, sexual partner count, HPV infection, exposure to tobacco products, and other variables. Patient history: A 60-years-old man had an ulcer over the HP of pennies, burning micturition, loss of weight and loss of appetite, apparently alright 6 months back. When he developed an ulcer over the tip of pennies. This was the initially small size which gradually increased growth of size 3x3 cm over the tip of the penis. Histopathological analysis of the excisional biopsy of the lesion concluded Squamous Cell Carcinoma with lymphovascular invasion. Stage Ptnm-Pt3N2Mx (stage IIIB), Patient all routine investigations is normal except few like Hemoglobin level is decreased that is 12.3 gm, MCHC is decreased 32.1 g/dl due to the cancerous cell formation, mean corpus volume MCV normal that is  83.8 FL, Clinical examination is normal except few things like examination of the penis showed friable, encrusted superficial ulceration of the tip of the penis, associated with induration of the corpus cavernosum to the proximal tip of the penis right and left Inguinal lymph nodes were enlarged. Conclusion: Penile cancer is one of the most common types of genitourinary cancer, affecting mainly older, uncircumcised men who have smoked or drank heavily in the past. Since the majority of patients present at an advanced age, a national awareness campaign for this disease is required.
