Abstract

Acute respiratory sickness has resulted from the emergence of Coronavirus disease 2019

( COVID-19) and various complications can be evolved  if not diagnosed and treated earlier including mutiorgan failure and ultimately death. For early diagnosis better understanding of the mechanism of virus action is required. This review aimed to compile the data available on the biochemical and immunological biomarkers used for laboratory diagnosis of COVID -19.  Complications, Severity of the diseases can be reduced by screening biochemical and immunological biomarkers and improve the recovery rate.
