Abstract

Cylinder head that sits On the top of the cylinder block, cylinder head is available used for the fuel circulation in an engine of a tractor. Fuel in and fuel out is carried out by the two valves inlet and exhaust respectively. These two valves are exactly similar and there is every possibility of getting them swapped. Due to swapping of valves malfunctioning arises in the engine. This fault created gets identified only at the time of testing. Removal of the fault requires dissembling of the engine resulting in financial burden. The proposed work addresses this problem of identifying the wrongly fitted valves and elimination of the same using Arduino and proximity sensors. The effective implementation of this work will result in reducing the efforts required to assemble the engine again and ultimately lowering the cost, time and manpower.
